Summer is almost over!!

August 30th, 2008 by Sara

This summer has flown by! Mike and Sara have been busy as usual. Mike has done quite a few onsite stump carvings which have turned out beautiful. Mike carved at the Reinmen Wildlife Sanctuary in August.  He carved a perched eagle which the Wildlife Sanctuary purchased and will keep the carving there.

Sara was invited to her first competition in Virginia, she was later asked to join a incredible group of women called The Chainsaw Chixs. They travel around the country and carve for different shows and fairs. She will be going to Ohio in Sept.

Mike has some beautiful new styles of bears. Please check out the Bears and Big Bears categories.walking bear

We wanted to give our site a fresh new feel, so here it is! It’s been a busy couple of months but we are having a lot of fun along the way. We’ve carved so many new and interesting pieces, so be sure to check out our galleries pages under the carvings tab. We will keep this updated with the latest and greatest of what is going on in our little corner of the Adirondacks, so be sure to check back often. You can also leave comments under each post, so feel free because we love to hear from you!
